What exactly is the Santuit Pond Estates Association?
The Santuit Pond Estates Association (SPEA) is a 501(c)(4) non-profit corporation that promotes the beneficial use and enjoyment by owners and tenants of property located in Santuit Pond Estates.
What does the association do?
Broadly the association strives to insures good community relations, public safety, and good living conditions for those in the neighborhood.
How large is the association?
There are about 153 properties in the association.
What are the yearly dues?
The yearly dues are $75 (this remains far less than any other Association of our size).
What are the dues for?
Our roughly $7,000 budget pays for insurance, property taxes, administrative expenses and upkeep & improvement of the common areas.
I owe back dues, but cannot pay the full amount. What should I do?
In order for our Homeowners Association to move forward, the Board and attendees at the November 2017 meeting agreed to pardon all overdue invoices before Calendar Year 2016.
If you are experiencing a financial hardship, reach out to the Treasurer or any Board Member. We will make every effort to assist. Our goal is to work with our neighbors to meet our legally required obligations.
How might I join the board?
If you attend the annual meeting, you can be nominated or nominate yourself for one of the board positions up for re-election.
There are also currently three [3] Street Rep positions available for Bayberry Drive, Cranberry Lane and Mayflower Road.
